How is Vermont’s small business community adapting to AI?
We’re asking Vermont business owners to take a short benchmark survey about how they’re using AI, what’s helping, and where the challenges remain. Whether you’re already using AI or still figuring out what it means for your business, we want to hear from you.
For Vermont business owners and operational decision-makers.

Why we’re doing this
Let’s get beyond the hype.
AI is changing how businesses work, but the experience on the ground is more complicated than the headlines suggest.
We want to understand what’s actually happening across Vermont businesses: where AI is making a difference, where it falls short, and what would help businesses put it to work more effectively.
The goal is to develop a useful picture of local AI adoption and share what we learn with the Vermont business community.

Take the 5-minute benchmark surveyAbout the study. This study is conducted by Kernel, a company exploring how AI can help businesses put their knowledge and experience to work more effectively.
How responses are used. The survey runs on Google Forms and does not require a Google account. It does not ask for your name or contact details unless you choose to provide them in the optional follow-up section at the end. Responses are analyzed collectively, and no individual business or respondent is identified in the published findings. Responses are stored in Google Forms under Kernel’s account.
Optional follow-up. If you leave contact details, we will use them only for what you choose: sending you the published benchmark report, or arranging a follow-up conversation about your business. Leaving them is not required to complete the survey. See our privacy policy for how Kernel handles personal information.
